Plain Naan is a soft, fluffy Indian flatbread that is traditionally cooked in a tandoor. It is made from white flour, yogurt, and a little yeast, giving it a soft, airy texture.

• Sprinkle the active dry yeast over the water and stir gently. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy, which indicates that the yeast is active.
• Cover the dough with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let it rest for 1-2 hours in a warm place, allowing it to rise and double in size.
