Yellow Dal Tadka is a popular and comforting North Indian dish made with yellow lentils (usually Toor Dal or Moong Dal), cooked and tempered with aromatic spices and ghee.

• Rinse the dal : Thoroughly wash the yellow lentils (Toor Dal or Moong Dal) until the water runs clear.
